Following a spectacular introduction to the BKT EuroCup with Cedevita Olimpija in the 2024-25 edition of the second-tier club continental competition of Euroleague Basketball, DeVante’ Jones moved his talents to Dolomiti Energia Trento for the 2025-26 season, the team announced on Thursday. Powering up the Ljubljana outfit, the 27-year-old point guard tallied 10.3 points, 3.8 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per contest over 20 EuroCup appearances.
Cedevita Olimpija has been busy as well, adding 30-year-old David Skara on Tuesday and re-signing 24-year-old Rok Radovic on Thursday. The newcomer will debut in the EuroCup after playing for Split last season, following spells with several teams in France and Spain since coming out of an NCAA career between Clemson and Valparaiso. On the other hand, the native of Ljubljana has played in 52 EuroCup games over the last four seasons with the Dragons.
Beyond securing the services of Michalis Lountzis, and previously retaining fellow Greek players, Nikos Gkikas and Giorgos Tsalmpouris, Panionios landed 34-year-old Markel Starks on Tuesday and 27-year-old George Papas on Thursday. Both players will debut in the EuroCup, after logging four appearances each in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Fenerbahce Beko and Olympiacos, respectively.
Veolia Towers Hamburg secured the services of 27-year-old guard Justin Edler-Davis on Tuesday and 25-year-old guard Eric Reed Jr. on Thursday. Penning a two-year and a one-year contract, respectively, both players will also expand their careers in the EuroCup.
The new season tips off on September 30.
