The 2025 NBA Playoffs are underway, and it’s the Indiana Pacers who claimed the first win.
Led by Pascal Siakam, the Pacers defended their home court and took down the Milwaukee Bucks 117–98, despite big numbers from Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Greek international recorded a double-double with 36 points and 12 rebounds but lacked support from his teammates.
Siakam led the charge for the Pacers with 25 points and seven rebounds, while Myles Turner added 19 points. Tyrese Haliburton flirted with a triple-double, posting 10 points, 12 assists, and seven rebounds.
Damian Lillard didn’t play and is expected to return for Game 2, but still managed to receive a technical foul in the final moments after a verbal altercation with Haliburton.
