Giannis Antetokounmpo remains ‘in the process of figuring things out,’ per senior NBA insider Shams Charania.
Therefore, the future of the 30-year-old Greek superstar is still unclear, especially based on rumors about intending to request a trade from the Milwaukee Bucks.
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, Charania also confirmed recent reports about a planned meeting between the Freak and the front office being postponed, while the former NBA champion is considering his options.

Giannis has traveled from the United States to Europe, following his younger brother, Kostas Antetokounmpo, playing for UCAM Murcia in Spain’s Liga Endesa.

Beyond reuniting with his family, the offseason schedule is expected to extend into the EuroBasket 2025, with the selector of the senior national team of Greece, Vassilis Spanoulis, confirming his participation in the major international tournament in February.
Eventually, talking with the Bucks will apparently focus on his intention to make a bid for a second NBA championship, whether he can pursue his goal in Milwaukee or elsewhere.
After establishing himself as the leading player of the franchise and being named Most Valuable Player of the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons, the Athens native led the Bucks to a championship in 2021, as the NBA Finals MVP. Disappointing exits marked all remaining postseason campaigns, including elimination in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals over the last three years.
Giannis has been loyal to the team based in Wisconsin since being drafted with the 15th overall pick in 2013.
