Pacers eliminate Knicks, set up Finals clash with Thunder

The Indiana Pacers are Eastern Conference champions after defeating the New York Knicks 125–108 in Game 6 to win the series 4–2 and advance to the NBA Finals.

The Pacers are headed to the Finals for just the second time in franchise history and are set to face the Oklahoma City Thunder for the NBA championship.

Pascal Siakam and Tyrese Haliburton ensured that Indiana fans got the celebration they had waited 25 years to see again. Siakam scored 31 points, while Haliburton added 21 — 11 of those in the fourth quarter — carrying the Pacers to victory.

Siakam was awarded the Larry Bird Trophy as the Eastern Conference Finals MVP. Haliburton also finished with 13 assists, while Obi Toppin contributed 18 points and six rebounds against his former team.

OG Anunoby led the Knicks with 24 points. Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and 14 rebounds, and Jalen Brunson finished with 19 points.
