Panathinaikos Athens superstar and reigning MVP Kendrick Nunn confirmed that he has received offers to play for Greece and Turkey but has yet to make a decision about it.
“There were offers that came on the table to play either for the Greek national team or the Turkish national team,” Nunn told Eurohoops. “It’s still in the air. I haven’t made a decision yet to be honest. I still have time.”
Nunn also mentioned that he feels “disrespected” by the referees in the EuroLeague.
“I may be faster and one of the stronger guards in the EuroLeague that can score the ball the way I do,” Nunn said. “They [referees] always think they play good defense for me. I don’t know why. Every team’s game plan is to stop Kendrick Nunn. I may go to the line once in the whole game, which seems unfair to me. I see other players go to the line 7, 8, 10 times per game. It’s unfathomable… I don’t know.”
